ADULT ON CAMERA BOOTCAMP!
Are you ready to take your acting to the next level? This all NEW exciting hybrid offering is for those serious about learning the professional techniques of how to immerse fully into character for the camera. Learning how to self-tape for auditions is a critical skill as students dive into a deeper understanding of vocal quality, emotional work, improvisation, body language, and making strong and powerful choices. Drawing from film and television scripts, actors perform individually and with fellow actors in scene work. Students learn how to overcome fear, refine the craft and build confidence to book the job! Class will meet for two virtual sessions to learn how to work on-camera from home to sharpen self-tapes and callbacks and meet in person at FilmNorth Studios for a full-day class experience.

ON CAMERA ACTING VARIETY PACK!
This all NEW acting for the camera class explores a variety of acting styles. Participants will take a deep dive into learning how to perform four important acting techniques: Comedy, Improvisation, Commercials, and Drama. Each class, participants will focus on a technique with scripts assigned to challenge and build a deeper understanding of how to bring them alive for auditions. Actors learn how to build truthful comedic characters with key beats and timing and emotional weight for dramatic scene work. Improvisational skills are honed to build confidence in auditions and foster creativity. Commercials and industrials empower actors to book the job. This hybrid class model will meet online for two sessions to learn how to audition and connect on camera remotely as this is the current industry trend for self-taped and callback auditions. The in person class experience guides the actor in to how to take direction, work with other actors, and bring solid energy into in-person scene work and auditions. AUDITIONING AND ACTING FOR THE CAMERA CLASS!
This NEW hybrid acting workshop is designed for those that wish to learn how to improve your auditioning skills! You will work with other actors in this dynamic workshop, performing a variety of scripts such as television shows, pilots, dramas, sitcoms to feature film and commercial scripts. Students will learn Michael Shurtleff’s 12 Guideposts and how to apply them to your audition process. BEYOND THE PAGE SUMMER CAMP: ON CAMERA ACTING WORKSHOP FOR KIDS AND TEENS
Want to dive deeper into the world of on camera acting and take your skills beyond the page?
Auditions are largely self-taped and callbacks are on Zoom, so learning how to navigate the remote world has never been more important.
In this new virtual class offering, students will learn the actor’s process, including building character and relationship, analyzing scripts, and growing improvisation skills. Class size is kept to a minimum so all students will have the opportunity to work on scenes, receive coaching, and participate in dynamic individual and group exercises designed to strengthen vocal and physical acting technique. This class is ideal for students who are passionate about their craft and excited to learn more!
Necessary equipment: Access to the internet, laptop, iPad or cellphone with camera.

WEEKEND INTENSIVE WORKSHOP FOR ADULTS
This weekend intensive on-camera workshop is a great fit for those with busy schedules. This class provides the opportunity to practice the art of working on-camera with commercial scripts, industrial film copy, television and film scripts, and interviewing skills. All participants will work individually on-camera while receiving feedback and coaching. A recording of your work on-camera will be provided. This condensed course will definitely challenge the new actor to the more experienced. Most students walk away with a deeper understanding of the on camera world and how to be successful in it.

IMPROVISATION FOR THE CAMERA
Dive into on-camera auditions with skill and enthusiasm with this all new virtual offering, Improvisation for the Camera! By focusing on the “traffic rules” of improvisation, you will learn how to make strong, memorable choices that will bring scripts to life and give your on-camera performance dynamic energy. Through a series of specialized, incremental exercises you will also gain confidence in those unscripted moments that can make auditions particularly challenging. Film and television auditions and on-set work requires the actor to be adaptable and confident in the skill of improvisation so mastering this vital skill is a must to be a real pro. This course is highly interactive; you will leave it with transferable skills and useful tools for approaching on-camera work.

YOGA AND BUILDING DYNAMIC MOVEMENT FOR THE ACTOR
Yoga for Actors is an exciting and unique new movement class designed to build the strength, stamina, and mind-body awareness that actors need to practice their craft. Beginning with a one-hour Vinyasa style yoga class, actors will practice mindfulness and meditation to build the awareness of self, learn breathing and relaxation techniques to help remain grounded in any situation, and flow through postures to build up physical strength and endurance. After creating this solid physical foundation, actors will then apply this dynamic movement through a variety of acting exercises, scene study and monologue work. Actors of all ages and experience levels will benefit from this class and learn skills that they can apply throughout their lives and in their craft.

BOOTCAMP 2
This continuation of the Bootcamp series completes the understanding of how to emotionally engage in scene work, develop an inner force to fully inhabit the character, and commit to the arc of the scene. Actors work alongside fellow actors in developing truthful, emotional and believable scenes. Actors stretch themselves and go outside emotional boundaries to fully commit without fear and limitation. Scene work encompasses television and film scripts as all actors will be recorded for personal review. This class is guaranteed to push the actor to a deeper understanding of fully inhabiting the character.

ACTING FOR THE CAMERA AND VOICEOVER CLASS
This NEW and unique class will plunge you into the on-camera world of auditioning for commercials and industrials AND introduce you to the craft of radio and television commercial voiceover work. This blended course is a perfect fit for the beginner to learn the methods and techniques necessary to work in the industry, and for the more experienced as a refresher to improve your auditioning skills! You will learn how to audition successfully on-camera with television scripts while receiving individual coaching. Plus, you will work on the mic with radio and television scripts to learn how you sound and how to interpret a script. Students will receive a copy of your on-camera and voiceover work to review at home. ADVANCED ON CAMERA ACTING FOR ADULTS
Due to its overwhelming success, I will be offering a new and exciting Advanced On Camera Workshop. This workshop is geared towards those of you that have taken the Adult On Camera Workshop and are familiar with my teaching style. Whether you have enrolled in one or more workshops you are welcome to enroll in this incredibly exciting class! This class is perfect for those that have been interested in exploring your ability in a deeper approach on-camera. I will be incorporating the well known and highly successful Acting Guideposts into scene work in a new format tailored for you. You will have the opportunity to learn how to make more dynamic choices in your auditions using the Acting Guideposts as your guide. I will lead you in more challenging exercises individually and with fellow students in scene study work and audition scenarios. You will learn how to pull your rawest emotions into a scene as well as define the truest route to the core of the scene and your character.

MASTER CLASS FOR KIDS AND TEENS
This invite only class is geared towards students that have masterfully completed the skills necessary from the Kids and Teens Film and TV Acting Class. This advanced class will meet throughout the year as students will continue to finesse the skill of character development, being present on camera, listening, evolving emotionally, and strengthening the techniques such as cold reads and improvisation. This class is for the serious student, and culminates in a Master Class Summer Film experience in which students assist in the writing of an original film screenplay and participate in it as an actor. A memory that will last a lifetime as these young actors learn the many facets of filmmaking.

DISNEY KIDS AND TEENS ACTING WORKSHOP
This all-day dynamic workshop will be led by Hollywood’s Disney director and on-set coach, Walter Pridgen and Twin Cities top acting coach, Michelle Hutchison. Participants will learn the inside scoop into how to audition for film and television projects. Many acting and auditioning skills will be covered such as: How to make bold and memorable choices, How to take the script and make it your own, Improvising with confidence, Recognizing pace, delivery and timing, Finding the funny, Learning techniques to have a dynamic and truthful audition, How to be prepared and never waste an audition, How to trust your instincts and be fearless!
