SUMMER 2019 ADULT ON CAMERA BOOTCAMP!
Are you ready to take your acting to the next level? This all NEW exciting offering is for those serious about learning the professional techniques of how to immerse fully into character for the camera. Students dive into a deeper understanding of vocal quality, emotional work, improvisation, body language, and making strong and powerful choices. MAY 2019 WEEKEND INTENSIVE WORKSHOP FOR ADULTS
This weekend intensive workshop is a great fit for those with busy schedules. This class provides the opportunity to practice the art of working on-camera with commercial scripts, industrial film copy, television and film scripts, and interviewing skills. All participants will work individually on-camera while receiving feedback and coaching. A DVD of your work on-camera will be provided. This condensed course will definitely challenge the new actor to the more experienced. JUNE 2019 KIDS AND TEENS ACTING FOR THE CAMERA CAMP
Want to learn how to audition for film and television on-camera projects? This course is the perfect fit for the young actor to learn the tricks of the trade, such as how to take a script and make it your own, create a character, improvisation, cold reads and more. ALL NEW 2019 ACTING FOR THE CAMERA AND VOICEOVER CLASS
This NEW and unique class will plunge you into the on-camera world of auditioning for commercials and industrials AND introduce you to the craft of radio and television commercial voiceover work. This blended course is a perfect fit for the beginner to learn the methods and techniques necessary to work in the industry, and for the more experienced as a refresher to improve your auditioning skills! You will learn how to audition successfully on-camera with television scripts while receiving individual coaching. Plus, you will work on the mic with radio and television scripts to learn how you sound and how to interpret a script. Students will receive a copy of your on-camera and voiceover work to review at home. This tool is a wonderful opportunity to see how you appear on-camera and how you sound to watch your progression each week. WINTER 2019 SCENE STUDY FOR THE CAMERA
NEW POSTING FOR WINTER 2019! This all new workshop is designed for the intermediate to advanced adult actor. Students will have the unique opportunity to work together on-camera with a variety of scripts; from television shows, pilots, dramas and sitcoms to feature film material. This class will strengthen the actor’s ability to work together on-camera in an audition scenario, while learning the tricks necessary to go deeper in scene work while on the set. Participants will be paired up weekly with a scene partner in prepared scenes, as well as practicing cold reads for commercials and film auditions. This five week workshop will meet on Sunday afternoons, 1:00pm-4:00pm.Dates: February 10, 17, 24, March 3, 10. Cost: $365.00
MASTER CLASS FOR KIDS AND TEENS
This invite only class is geared towards students that have masterfully completed the skills necessary from the Kids and Teens Film and TV Acting Class. This advanced class will meet throughout the year as students will continue to finesse the skill of character development, being present on camera, listening, evolving emotionally, and strengthening the techniques such as cold reads and improvisation. This class is for the serious student, and culminates in a Master Class Summer Film experience in which students assist in the writing of an original film screenplay and participate in it as an actor. DISNEY KIDS AND TEENS ACTING WORKSHOP
This all-day dynamic workshop will be led by Hollywood’s Disney director and on-set coach, Walter Pridgen and Twin Cities top acting coach, Michelle Hutchison. Participants will learn the inside scoop into how to audition for film and television projects. Many acting and auditioning skills will be covered such as: How to make bold and memorable choices, How to take the script and make it your own, Improvising with confidence, Recognizing pace, delivery and timing, Finding the funny, Learning techniques to have a dynamic and truthful audition, How to be prepared and never waste an audition, How to trust your instincts and be fearless!All aspects of the acting business will be discussed so come with questions ready to go. Students will work with television and film scripts in a variety of acting exercises and scene work while receiving group and individual coaching.
